That's because you are confusing fear with ignoring reality. The Islamic extremists are dedicated to attacking us, and probably every other western style government again. Their goal is a new, world wide Caliphate.

I fully expect that we will be attacked again, and in a manner which will eclipse 9-11. Don't underestimate your enemy. They may be religious wackos, but they're smart, dedicated, and willing to die.

And when it happens, I won't draw any comfort by saying I told you so.
