Heck Cleveland was fantastically wealthy. Dad says they passed a tax, they called it the 'Rockefeller tax', and all the rich people moved out. Since then it's been a workers' paradise.

You do realize there are rich people living in the areas surrounding Detroit. Rich people and the very poor. Damn little in between.
