What's your point here, other than deflecting? You rent quip being the tell.
Saying "nope" is not deflecting. It's disagreeing. And asking a poster to focus on the topic rather than just search out "style" problems with other posters is not deflection. I think you are now doing two things: projecting and gaslighting. This is my last word on it. Have at it.

Meanwhile, It appears that the Russian people may not be all that much behind this as some may think: Russia-Ukraine: Anti-war protests continue in Moscow, St Petersburg, prominent Russian celebrities join

It's kinda looking like Vietnam with the US, except it took us years to spin up some really good protests.

I know Ukraine has some of the richest coal fields in the world, but other than that I don't really see a long term up side for Putin. But he may have reasons a lot of us are not yet aware of.

Nope. The deflection was at the finish of your post, not it's start. Nice switcheroo deflection though. What a dope.

Irony. You didn't read my whole post, apparently.

You didn't like the poem?

Would that be ironic?

Lindsey Graham @LindseyGrahamSC

Putin’s suggestion to negotiate on terms of Ukraine basically being a puppet state of Russia tells me that the Ukrainians are putting up one helluva fight.

There are many Germans who are hesitant to intervene because of what happened before. If I were German, I would not want to start a hot war with Russia.

Occasionally Lindsey does come up for air, for brief periods of time.

I wonder if Pootin expected to roll up Ukraine like the coalition forces rolled up the Iraqi military in the Gulf war?

GOP Ukraine Distancing

Trump's Response to Putin's Invasion of Ukraine Reveals Divisions Among Republicans

Republican lawmakers and candidates are largely united in their belief that President Biden's response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine has fallen short — in fact, it's former President Donald Trump's remarks on Vladimir Putin and Ukraine that are revealing fissures in the Republican Party over the scope of U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbs...ican-response/

I expect the Republican lawmakers to approve of anything Biden does in regards to Ukraine just about the time I grow ears on my forehead.
