Everyone who works for a bailed out automaker is a lazy, dope smoking drunk.................
The entire industry, the UAW, the Jeep Cherokee and the Obama administration called into question because of a handful of idiots, by Stuart Varney. When Sean "Eddie Munster" Hannity came on afterwards it got even worse.

Fifteen out of 2800 plant workers represent the entire unionized auto industry, just like two guys at a polling place represent a re-emergent Black Panther party. Who needs logic when you can sell snake oil.

D-ray

You can sell a LOT of snake oil when millions are out there demanding it.

I wonder which point of view is closer to the truth?

That is a quite ambiguous question. My post was pointing our the ridiculous bias and exaggeration of Fox. The viewpoint reflected in my post is the above, not the comparison of two equally illogical positions taken by Fox.
As I said previously, I don't doubt that there are drug abusers and alcohol abusers in most occupations.
Therefore, I see the viewpoint actually conveyed in each of the posts as accurate.

I can see that. More of a problem than you may realize, but a day in the factory isn't the taxpayer funded, free-for-all Woodstock style party atmosphere Fox tried to paint it as either. Seems like a reasonable view to me.

Maybe we do need to get back to the mythical Good ol' Days when you could buy heroin over the counter, brothels were legal, and America truly was a Christian Nation?

Hah! Ever get mortar in your eye? A rash from machine oil?
How about threatened for working too hard in a union shop?
Just because the Dems mouth on about jobs and the working man while voting free trade and dealing with Big Pharma doesn't mean anything. Right?
I forgot - The Dems are proving their commitment to the working man by keeping the tax cut in place for them. So if you're scraping by at $235K a year Dems are on your side.
The only jobs left'll be in government. That worked out great for the working folks in Greece.
There's a reason the AFL kicked the commies out.

Regardless, what has the GOP ever done for the working man except trickle down on them? I hate that yellow stuff.
