I'm told they keep score. (I haven't noticed.)

I seem to recall this sport filled with 50-year-old Nancy Lopez types and a bunch of thick lesbians.

The LPGA Wa-Mart NWA Championship, sponsored by P&G, just wrapped up here July 1st at Pinnacle Hills Country Club in Rogers, AR. It is a really nice golf course. You can live there if you pony up $500,000 to millions of dollars for a house and can afford the $60,000 a year in green fees. There are HOA fees too. Recession, what recession?

I went to Wimbledon once during my stint in Europe. The best tickets I could do at the spur of the moment was for the finals of the women's doubles in 1983. Martina Navratalova/Pam Shriver beat Wendy Turnbull/Rosie Casals. Cool stuff.
