Allen H. Weisselberg, a longtime top executive at Donald J. Trump’s family business who was indicted on tax charges last summer, is nearing a plea deal with prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney’s office but would not cooperate with a broader investigation into Mr. Trump, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/15/n...plea-deal.html This should put pressure on Trump Org, which is still a defendant in the case, and also permit the DA to put Weisselberg in front of the grand jury (he can no longer plead the 5th, but still may not be very cooperative).

A DOJ filing this morning indicates that there was *ANOTHER* search warrant signed by Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on August 5 that was not related to the search of Mar-a-Lago and instead part of a separate ongoing investigation.
