SEC Sues Goldman Sachs
Holy Shit. This may not come as a great surprise to some (e.g., Rob), but how about this. The SEC is suing Goldman Sachs for designing a scheme whereby it profited by betting against the very mortgage investments that it sold to its customers. Now doesn't that just beat all?

Nothing was likely to happen while Hank Paulson was Bush's Treasury Secretary. He used to be CEO of Goldman Sachs. Goldman's partner in crime for this swindle was Paulson & Co whose CEO John Paulson. I wish I could say the two are related but they're not. Just one of life's strange coincidences.

Hardly worth the cost, according to all the books coming out on the bubble bursting they are a bunch of incompetent boobs. Apparently corporate America is anything but a meritocracy, they got ahead by scheming and ass kissing.
