Dave,

Just wondering - has the reduction in tobacco use had any positive effect on the headaches? Or to put it more scientifically, have you seen a reduction in the headaches since you started using the vaps?

Regards,

D-Ray

and was there a transition period where the vaps kinda sucked, and you still wanted a regular smoke?

I have found that vaping gives me significantly less pain. No doubt about it.

Hard to say since I am still in that transition period. To be honest I did not plan to completely quit with tobacco. I know some picked up an esmoke and never looked back. They were not me, smoking 3 packs a day. Its a nasty addiction that if I can scale it back to half a pack a day, i'll be very pleased.

Right now im down to a pack a day or less. The rest is vaping.

Three packs a day? Good God. I sincerely do hope you are successful, Dave. Even if you just manage to cut back, as you said.

Of course it's all economics. Well maybe not all economics. Our smoking ban started here on December first. It sure is nice to go into a restaruant and not have to gag on someone elses nasty habit.

What in the hell is an "uplifer"?

Regards,
Dave

"Uplifter" spelled wrong. My apologies.

Now what the hell is a "restaruant"?

As to the definition of an "uplifter"

I'll let Mencken give an example. He is far more eloquent than myself.

A couple of questions for FEARLESS LEADER,
What brand do you smoke? Do you roll your own? I used to smoke marlboros, then switched to marlboro lights. As the cost of a pack steadily climbed, I switched to TOP rollies, which I buy in the 0.6 ounce bag, which comes with 40 papers. When I was smoking pre rolled cigs, I would easily smoke one to one and a half packs a day. Now I find that the top tobacco with 40 papers can last me up to three or four days on the average without a concerted effort on my part to cut down. I find that having to stop and roll one significantly cut down the amount that I smoke, and on the average, I use much less in one of my home made smokes as compared to a store bought cigarette. (another reduction) And, since theres no filter, I tend to only smoke two thirds of the cigarette, rather than down to the filter with store bought smokes. (yet another reduction)
Ive actually had a couple of people remark that they are amazed that I dont have a smokers cough considering that I smoke non filtered "coffin nails"

Heres a crazy idea,,,,smoke weed instead, if you dont already. If its any good, you'll be too stoned to think about cigarettes! LOL
