I want to know what brain dead REPUBLICAN started this. Probably some Karen or Ken nitwit upon seeing busloads of people not-like-them and going into a conniption fit. Ironic since it is Republican governors doing the bussing of migrants. Migrants, not illegal invaders.

I blame this on social media and unless its regulated in a meaningful manner, its a lost cause. Just about any one can post lies and innuendos on X_Twitter, worst of all in YouTube which also masquerades as a legit TV channel. Images tend to be more convincing that text.

I know there are lot more social media sites, but these two I believe have been at the forefront in spreading fake info.

As long as lying is allowed under free speech we will continue to have the likes of Alex Jones and Trump. With the ability to spread disinformation, distortions of facts at will.

Without any accountability or punishment we see what happens. On any given day it is a good bet a very large portion of the country will receive a dose of the above mentioned information thinking it since allowed it must be true. With the advent of the internet and the ability to tailor to the user specific information thus making even more effective in it's effects.
