We're Number.......... 16!

This is pretty tough to take. The richest country in the world is content to have a third of its children living in poverty. And who's leading the way? All those pinko soshulist countries in Europe, that's who.

Remember when Rubio said that Bernie would be a fine president...... for Sweden? Their child poverty rate is little more than a third of ours.

Sure, but we have guns and freedom here, or something.

It's because we're still deeply concerned about the happiness of our billionaires.

Norway has a different perspective. It was not surprising that it was at the top of OP's table.

Norway has the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world.

It isn't the same all over the world. The graph clearly shows that some countries do a lot better than others. For instance, the Czech Republic, a former USSR satellite country, has a childhood poverty rate exactly half that of the UK.

I just got back from Canada and it did not appear to me that there was anywhere near the economic disparity there that we have in the U.S. Yet I was surprised to see that they did not appear as one of the 15 countries above us in the chart. So I check inside the report and found that their child poverty rate is in the low 20's while ours was in the low 30's. So obviously they belong ahead of us. I wonder how many more there are?
