And yet another FU
To over the air TV, oh hell throw cable in as well.
I know the economy is rough but paid programing on all damn night long, hell you bastards even put it on during prime time.
Here is a great big FU to all your paid programers.
What sort of moron would watch this crap, much less purchase something from these losers. Oh wait the american people, who believe they can make a million dollars from a book, lose that stomach without during the hard work, clear their colons of all the bad food they stuff their faces, or buy hair products from some ugly person.
Sorry for the rant but if you guys have not figured out by now, I don't sleep much, and hate the barrage of this crap for the masses.

Why not order "Condemnation Kills But The Spirit Gives Life" from Joseph Prince?
https://www.josephprince.org/onlines...lbum-ntsc.aspx
Maybe that will help.
That is what they are selling out here in NY this morning anyway.

Well given the current network offerings those infommercials just may be the best TV you'll see all day.

I tell ya, I don't miss it at all. I have so much music I want to hear, and my stack of next-to-be-played albums grows all the time. I have picked up a couple of good books from the thrifts, and there's all the information on these blasted boards. I spent some time with the soldering iron last night. Every once in awhile, my wife even want's my attention, even if it's just to ask if I've let the dog out. When something good happens on TV, like Neil Young's performance at the Olympics, I can find it on You Tube, or one of the networks' websites. Just turn the damn thing off. You'll be glad you did.
(For all you parents out there, we banned the kids from the TV from Sunday through Thursday nights, and it changed their lives for the better too.)
Regards,
D-Ray

My TV viewing is pretty much college sports (football and basketball), The Daily Show/Colbert Report, and sometimes The News Hour on PBS. That's ample boob tube for me (and I watch most of them using the DVR to skip commercials.)

Went and got Fios and all of the extras that come with it. My t.v. bill now comes to $100-$120/month and I never watch the damn thing. It's just sickening. The worst part is the politics. It has crept into everything. It always has to some degree, but it has become more and more obnoxious the last few years. I have fun chatting about it here. But there are times you want to get away from it, and now it's every effin' where I go. Even the local news channels are starting to get stupid with it. The local FM Rock station has some wingnut yahoo that talks shit every morning. And he's not even funny or interesting, he's just an asshole. So I've stopped listening to that station too.
Anyhow, I'm down with the flu today. Just called in to work, hated to do it but the dusty environment would drive my sinuses insane.
Regards,
Dave

Verizon is really hurting over here, they ran FiOS down the court and got only two of the twenty-one households. I get a letter from them every week and robo phone calls, even had a live human call me but I guess he won't be doing that again.

TV is a tough racket right now. Just sayin'. Our new Corporate boss (my bosses boss) is in town tomorrow. Who knows why? I don't think anything bad is going to happen, but you never know. Today may be my last day of work here.
