Nothing. Because apparently bigdata has no concept of beauty and thinks its OK to synchronize bullshit no matter what I am listening to.

Synchronization rights used to be a thing when artists were people. I guess I am stuck in the auditory shit bowl of corporate art.

"Perfection" by Badfinger...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS2Ag7OwGRs

I always thought this was the best song on "Straight Up" and I got to thinking about the history of this band, and how it ended up crushed by the self-absorbed asshole owners of Apple Records.

Quote:
In point of fact, Straight Up had been a very difficult album to record, going through two producers, George Harrison and Todd Rundgren, in the course of getting something usable. It sold well and might have even sold better had Apple promoted it more actively but, in a sign of the company's internal problems, the group was largely left to fend for itself when pushing the album on tour. Additionally, although the album was popular and Ham enjoyed working with and learning from Harrison, the other bandmembers, especially Molland, felt that Straight Up didn't sound very much like Badfinger. Certainly the two singles had textures and sounds that one easily associated with latter-day Beatles' records and Harrison's solo material.

Moreover, the connection with Harrison did nothing to relieve them of the Beatles connection. Furthermore, even at that point, there were problems developing collecting the money they were making -- Apple was in a state of chaos, with Badfinger and the individual Beatles the only artists who were making any money for the company. - Allmusic.com
Lennon and McCartney were so wrapped up in their contentious bullshit that they hung Badfinger out to dry and twist in the wind while they bickered with each other over their fucking girlfriends. And then Harrison had the balls to attack Pete Ham for deciding that the band needed to find a new record company because they had effectively not received a penny out of Apple Records in close to two years. Self-indulgent assholes...but we always pretty much knew that about McCartney and particularly about Lennon.

Not a Babs fan, and it's a pretty bad song, but I applaud her for standing up to the fascist in chief.
