A classic from my misspent youth, 'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid'.

Though there's a lot of confusion about AI. Intelligence is simply the ability to make decisions. Even a paramecium has some such ability. Computers have ever since the first conditional was programmed.
Of course, some entities are more intelligent than others.
Overlooked but crucial is 'artificial desire.' We need to be careful what we make the toasters want.

And without giving too much away, desire, artificial or otherwise, is the essence of the film.
Glad you liked it, DQ. Glad and not at all surprised.

Just watched "Imperium", a pretty good flick about an undercover FBI agent that infiltrated white supremacists and brought down a terrorist plot to detonate a "dirty bomb" in DC. Supposedly based on a real situation.
Recommended.

Traitor: DON CHEADLE
A devout Moslem goes deep under cover and has to reconcile broad challenges to his faith.
Once again Don Cheadle shows that he is a good actor.

Mot the least of which is the tendency of some infidels to insist on using an outdated term for a Muslim.

It seems obviously disrespectful to keep using a word for a group that members of the group find objectionable. So I'd say it behooves us baby boomers to update our usage.
