Schiff is a grandstanding fool and you're playing right into his BS.

It wasn't Durham's job to investigate Mueller and critique Mueller's work, and Schiff knows that. Durham was tasked to look into the FBI's behavior during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. So, no, one would now expect Durham to know the details of the Mueller probe.

It's just Schiff and you looking to score cheap debate points, and both of you just face-planted.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., asked Durham Wednesday about the June 9, 2018, Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort and a Russian emissary, who was said to have dirt on Hillary Clinton. Trump, Jr. received an email from a business colleague that scheduled the meeting and informed him that the session was part of a secret Russian plot to support his father's campaign.

"People get phone calls all the time from individuals who claim to have information like that," Durham said, dismissing the situation.

"Are you really trying to diminish the importance of what happened here?" Schiff asked in response, surprised that Durham found the meeting, which indicated to Moscow that Trump's camp was receptive to Russian election intervention, unimportant.

So Schiff is accusing Durham of diminishing the importance of the Trump campaign trying to get dirt on Hillary from a "Russian Emissary" (a meeting that turned out to be about adoptions of Russian kids or some such). Yet it was Schiff who got punked by a couple of Russian comedians impersonating Ukrainians intel operatives who got Schiff all fired up about getting his hands on (non-existent) pictures of "naked Trump" with naked women.

Schiff is a duplicitous lying sack of human debris and you're a shameless shill for him.

“I don’t think there’s any question that Russians intruded into—hacked into the systems, they released information,” Durham said.

“And that was helpful to the Trump campaign, right?” Schiff asked.

After trying to deflect the question, Durham agreed the Russians had been helpful to the Trump campaign.

“And Trump made use of that, as I said, didn’t he, by touting those stolen documents on the campaign trail over a hundred times,” Schiff said.

Durham said he didn’t “really read the newspapers, or listen to the news.”

“So I don’t know that,” he said.

“Were you totally oblivious to Donald Trump’s use of the stolen emails on the campaign trail more than a hundred times?” Schiff asked. “Did that escape your attention?”

Durham responded that he wasn’t aware of that.

The exchange was one of multiple tense moments between Schiff and Durham throughout the day as Republicans looked to prop up Durham’s report insisting the FBI should not have investigated possible collusion between Trump and Russia in the 2016 election.

So we know it happened but the FBI should not have looked into it. Is that the core concept of the Durham report? No wonder it fizzled with two low level prosecutions and two acquittals.

So what can the House do? Censure Schiff of course. As if.................

The entire world knows that Trump is a Russia colluding traitor, yet the MAGAts in the House want us all to believe otherwise, so they bring in Durham to whitewash the allegations and he couldn't. So squash the Mueller report, expunge the two impeachments and all this to make a pathological liar and a crook look normal? Most people should not give their car keys to Trump, let alone keys to the WH.

Nope. That was the pretext. The actual purpose was the lifting of Magnitsky sanctions against Russian oligarchs represented by Natalia Veselnitskaya (for which they expressed a willingness to provide dirt on Hillary).

You know full well that the Mueller investigation was an outgrowth of Crossfire Hurricane. Schiff's point was that any criticism of the need for an investigation of the Trump campaign's ties to Russia that deliberately overlooked or downplayed the investigations results (boatloads of indictments, convictions and guilty pleas) is disingenuous on its face (which Durham's investigation and prosecution most certainly proved to be).j
