So, your post are always welcome. But I'd suggest you "up your game" to a level of discussion that is at once informative and challenging based on facts or substantive opinions rather than ad homs.
Very nice post.

That is one thing I have always appreciated about you, Whell. While there isn't much we agree on politically, you always present your case well.

I suppose that's where we are different.

I always try to be nice to all of you bastards...whether you deserve it or not.

As my father told me, "Be polite to everyone, even if he's the sorriest sumbitch in town."

Words to live by...in my estimation.

You're mean to some of us, even when we don't know that you're being mean.

Just kiddin' with ya, Mike. I'm no Anthony Weiner. I'm more the average white boy still without a foreskin.

I shall endeavor to be more polite. But at least I'm trying.

Besides, whenever I quit being polite, it's pretty obvious.

I've still got all of my factory equipment...other than three teeth.

But all of it does suffer from occasional intermittents...something a FORD OWNER should be able to appreciate.

Fix Or Repair Daily? Actually my plain white wrapper '03 6 cyl Ranger seems to be pretty damn reliable, so far. My old '86 was a clusterfuk on four wheels (replaced the tranny three times before I torched it). That '97 F250 5.8l never had a hiccup in 270,000 miles. Of course it guzzled gas at an astonishing rate.
As to the original equipment? Nobody consulted me before taking a scalpel to my junk, standard procedure in the '50s. I am wondering when my right wheel (knee) finally gives out, how much my co pay will be. Mebbe I'll check on the California Healthcare website, which has been up and running quite well, thank you very much. Don't think I'll actually qualify for much of a subsidy though but hey, the wife'll qualify for Medicare this August.

One can be extremely polite, while at the same time slicing the object of his attention into small pieces. In my humble observation, I have seen you quite capable of cutting through even the most sturdy facade and making the demolition appear to be a remodeling. You're a sly one, Mr. Chas. You raise the level of discourse here, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

Regards,

D-Ray
