The first day
of 2011.
I'm not one to drink often, but this eavning I thought I'd pull out the bottle of Kiwi 42 Below from the freezer and twist the top off. I poured about half a real size glass full, then poured alittle Wech's White Grape juice coctail in it. Overall vertict of glass two, .. it tastes pretty good and though the buzz isn't to totaly insane like strait shine .. it is however just about right.
Yall enjoy New Years.

We finally got the chance to see Crazy Heart. Jeff Bridges is a helluva actor. Also watched a concert video of Jane Monheit. That lady has some pipes. Didn't mind seeing my Sooners win the Fiesta Bowl either.

Crazy Heart was great. The Dude was superb in that role. As for the Sooners, what on Earth is the BCS doing pitting the Sooners against UConn? Good Gawd, y'all.
Tomorrow night - VT Hokies vs. Stanford. It'll be a tough one for my Hokies methinks.

Don't forget some pretty good songwriting by T-Bone Burnett.
Big 12 is tied to the Fiesta Bowl, and the Fiesta had the last pick of the rest of the teams. Blame the Big East on who they provided as a Conference Champ. I was really wanting V tech or Stanford. But, then my friend from Stanford wanted a traditional Big 10, Pac 10 game. At this point, Wisc. might wish for that too.
