2024 Election.

Not looking good at this point:

Source: Steve Schmidt's substack "The Warning." He goes into Trumps plans when he get back in. Two words: Police State. https://steveschmidt.substack.com/p/...medium=reader2

Trump leads Biden in nearly every battleground state.

Biden's frailty and the debt levels of consumers are big negatives.

One poll factor: Trump support is mobilized by the legal attacks on him. Nothing mobilizing going on for Biden

A majority of the votes Trump will be receiving are by those wishing to keep him out of jail.

It has stopped surprising me on the stupidity of my fellow citizens, humans for that matter are. For their seemingly easy ability to be fooled over and over so easily. By those who wish control them.

This video edition of "Steve Schmidt's The Warning" gives an excellent accessible explanation of Trump's continued appeal. He calls it 'The Politics of F*ck You.' He sees a vast swath of Americans having real grievance over the economy and the opioid epidemic and much else. They basically lost faith in all establishment institutions. Trump exploited this, while the establishment just called anyone listening to him stupid. That worked poorly for the establishment. The economy is better now, but folks really don't get that because the RW media doesn't say so. Sure, more people have good jobs than ever, but they credit themselves for that, not Biden....

BTW, Schmidt points out, Trump now looks to ride this thing to a full fascist dictatorship. And he seems to be succeeding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTfdmwPZXwM

Why blame the RW media for people's perception of the economy?

Here's a poll that shows the big partisan split on how the economy is doing: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cbs-new...partisan-lens/

Poll says 52% of Democrats think the economy is doing good, while 15% of the Republicans do. Do you think the vast majority of Republicans are objectively hurting in this booming economy? I say something must be influencing them to be so negative. If not right wing media, what?
