I have to think the supporters came after the fact, that's usually how it works.
Anyone know if Obama is in the Tri Lateral Commission? I suppose I need to look that up. He almost has to be as they have supplied every president since Carter.......

Too bad they aren't the bilateral commission. Inflation's a bitch

Excellent post. I think we all need to be reminded of "clubs" like this.
Let us know when you confirm Obie's membership.
Thanks

I don't doubt that. Looks like he's appointed several members to key positions including some of the founders of the Trilateral commission.

I just went to the Trilateral Commision's website and must confess that to me on the face of it they aren't kingmakers, are they? I confess to not paying much attention to this insidious cabal of one world government theists....but.. Ok, ok I'm yanking your chain, sorry.

No one really wants to raise the spectre of what happens if it turns out to be true that the sitting, de facto President of the United States really wasn't even qualified to hold the office in the first place. The can of worms that would open would be way beyond embarrassing for the country, it could be cataclysmic and chaotic in its potential ramifications and consequences. Would every law and executive order he has signed be automatically invalidated? What chaos would that cause? What about people who received funds under things he authorized that were technically illegal --or are they all legal, since he was sworn in, eligible or not? The lawsuits and entanglements that would arise could be enough to cripple the country for years to come.
The whole thing is a nightmare. Probably the best thing to do is ignore it, and put prudent steps in place to prevent a recurrence. The action proposed in Arizona is a very practical step in that direction... although since it relates to the sitting President, it still risks opening the can of worms. It probably SHOULD be an automatic requirement in future elections, though. It's a simple step towards transparency and enforcement of a tenet of the Constitution. What is stupid about that?
So far, I've found one instance of a fraudulent document by an over-zealous "birther"... but otherwise, a huge amount of inexplicable actions by the Obama side, and a lot of valid evidence on the other side, which makes me suspect one of the biggest, stinkiest frauds in American political history may have been committed here, and gotten away with (at least so far).
If you read that article, the request that Hawaii confirm the birth is reasonable. In fact, I'd say that every State perhaps should have been doing that in every election. The unbelievably STUPID thing is not that. It's that a basic, fundamental requirement stipulated in the US Constitution has been bereft of any form of checking or enforcement, for so long. THAT is what is incredibly stupid, and it appears that it's very possible that we (all Americans) have been scammed by someone smart enough to notice it, and ruthlessly aggressive enough to exploit it.
Shades of Clinton revisited...

The request was legal, it was just that the Secretary of State hinted that Obama might not be allowed to be on the ballot, at the same time that said Secretary of State already knew he was going to be on the ballot.....he came out like a day or two later and announced Arizona's decision. He was just using the Big Lie to garner some Tea Bagger support for his upcoming election (he may run for governor) by throwing some red meat to the mindless minions. The only reason why this is an issue is because Obama is African American. It is code.
