The poultry industry uses arsenic to speed up batch turn around time. At about three weeks into the growth cycle they poison the birds with arsenic to the point of near death. Then they withdraw the arsenic. The birds who were unable to eat for a week start to feel better and gorge themselves on high fat feed which results in rapid growth and weight gain.
I bet you get more arsenic from eating poultry then you ever will drinking apple juice.
