FEC Allows Bitcoin Donations

http://www.latimes.com/nation/politi...508-story.html
"The FEC also allowed political action committees to invest in the highly volatile bitcoin market.
The new guidance applies to political action committees but not to political parties or candidates.
The Libertarian National Committee said it will continue to accept bitcoin donations regardless of whether they exceed $100. Executive Director Wes Benedict said such a low ceiling, if ever enforced for political parties, would be inconsistent with cash contribution limits.
“Part of the novelty,” he added, “is the legal ambiguity, and libertarians like to push the limits of the law.”"

Why not imaginary currency? Our elections are going to the highest bidder anyway.
