I dare say they are more familiar with the shine of the moon than tea!

Yeah, they need a forum before there is one for dems, republicans, libertarians, greens.....

What about all those leftie nuts burning Bush in effigy all those years?

The left should be scared of the tea partiers - older folks vote.

Pete
No one burned Bush because he was appointed. These dirtbaggers have been trying to collapse my country since the day they lost the VOTE. Protests against Bush did not start until his actions became illegal and immoral. There is no correlation between the two groups.

Actually, that's not true. Protests began as soon as the Supreme Court appointed Bush. There were many protesters along the motorcade route for his first inaugural but it got scant attention from the "liberal" media.

It really is quite different. The election issue, no matter what you think of it, was a legitamate issue of contention that spoke to the legitamacy of the administration. The conduct of the war which many legal scholars do indeed contend was illegal under international law is a legitmate issue of contention that people saw fit to protest.

Obama did win the election, by a pretty fair margin. And people are angry at him for doing *exactly what he said he would do* when he campaigned. That's not a protest, that's crying because you lost.

Actually -- at the risk of being a commercial -- that's fear of change.

It's a brave, new, world and the "Undiscovered Country" scares the bejesus out of some folk: those that fear things like Natural Selection.

Natural Selection?! You mean Evil-ution?

I loved listening to Bush talk about bird flu. You remember that? He would say "and the virus can mutate". MUTATE?! Do you mean evolve? Naaaaahhh.

although I am sure you are right, I recall no mass orchestrated protests advocating armed rebellion with a mickey mouse character at the helm
