Rajaratnam gets 11 years

Probably a bad time to be sentenced for insider trading with the anti wall street sentiment in the air.

I'd think insider trading would be hard NOT to do.

Say I get rich, be it lottery (that'd be a miracle - I don't play!), bank robbery, being a mortgage broker, etc. I knew that with one phone call I could get a friend of mine (Simi? ) rich. From my poor schlub perspective, that is one heck of an apple.

Greed causes insider trading.. It's usually the ones that are lacking of morals that do it.. There are far more traders out there that don't do insider trading.

What's really bad, it seems to be pretty selective of who gets popped for insider trading. Many have been caught that walked..

While reading on "Insider Trading" I noted one Milton Friedman: You want more insider trading not less. You want to give the people most likely to have knowledge about deficiencies of the company an incentive to make the public aware of that.

Then you need more whistle blowing, not making yourself rich at others expense.

Definitely. No wonder Mr. Friedman is so revered by the right.

Maybe he will get Martha Stewart's old cell. I hear it is very nicely decorated.
