On NPR yesterday this asshole Rosendale from Montana was interviewed by Ari Shapiro. So Ari asks the asshole, why vacate the Speaker? The asshole's answer is, "McCarthy has lost the trust and confidence of our caucus." So Ari says, "But Mr. Rosendale, only 8 members of the Republican caucus voted to remove McCarthy, 202 voted to retain him. How can you say he lost the trust and confidence of the entire Republican caucus."

The asshole replied with some rambling bullshit about Biden and the Democrats...asshole. Matt Rosendale's educational background is as a graduate of Queen Anne's County High School.

On Wednesday morning, two Republicans who hours earlier had toppled Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the House made a well-worn trek to a 19th-century brick townhouse a few blocks away from the Capitol and entered the cluttered sanctuary of Stephen K. Bannon’s recording studio.

Representatives Matt Gaetz of Florida, the instigator of the rebellion, and Nancy Mace of South Carolina, one of seven other Republican defectors, huddled with Mr. Bannon for a morning meeting ahead of a joint appearance on his “War Room” podcast.

“Tectonic plate shift here in the imperial capital,” Mr. Bannon told his listeners at showtime, while directing them to donate to his guests online. “We must stand in the breach now. We have to lance the boil that is K Street in this nation.”

So deposing Speaker McCarthy was part of a fund raising gig?

Quite amazing that one half the GOP is blaming the Dems for not supporting McCarthy and the other half is accusing Nancy and the Dems of deposing McCarthy while all along its an inside job by a felon. And Nancy was correct, Gaetz's only interest is to raise money.

What reasonable people are upset about is how the Party of Putin is doing everything it can to dismantle even reasonable systems of management (like how a House speaker is chosen) that have existed for over 200 years.
