Cold weather camping

If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. The coldest weather of this season just rolled in off the Pacific.

Heading up to the High Sierra for some fishin' and a little prospectin' after stopping in Los Gatos for my sis in laws birthday. I'll be avoiding King's Canyon, 19 degrees at night there...I sure hope it warms up by the weekend.

At least we won't be sleeping on the ground. Renting one o' these.

I'd say, I fill up the bottom of my trunk with firewood before packing up, but....



I would LOVE to camp out there! Have fun. Those little trailers are cool. But what's to enjoy if you can't sleep on the cold ground with a root in your back?

I'm to old for that $hit! These old bones don't like the cold. Once my hands and feet get cold the fun is over too.

I'd get a room off Expedia and stay warm at night.
