There's a lot of silly "doing-the-dozens" repartee that clutters the topical issue-oriented core of many threads here, tho' some are started purely for provocation rather than discussion.

For a relative newby I've been about as open and honest about myself here as I can be. Nobody has abused me for it yet AFAIK.

In my house it is my domain and I am the keeper With God's Guidance of course,but when I leave out the door I am at the mercy of the world.And I accept that same being said for the internet I put myself out there with others to be scrutinized and sized up.

The story as best that I remember events has already been commited to a set of chapters including the letters. Our son has read the letters and commented that they were beautiful and poetic. He was adopted during my fist marriage but calls Florence Mom.

A cousin sent me a photo of her when she was sixteen going on seventeen, lovely then too. So now I am writing a novel picturing what might have happened had we met then, up to Chapter 25 and still not finished.
Not too shabby for a former Tech Writer.

Rob,I Have gotten a video camera and plan on doing a memories dvd for anyone to see after I am gone,and to just put my thoughts into digital format,I think You should do that also put your memoies on record.For me it is therapy.Video memoirs

Plus there are four generations on the Playroom walls in photographic form. I can even print 16 x 20 using the big DesignJet 350C EA/0 on 90 pound photo paper.
