I'm in town for a couple minutes..

Been looking at the old neighborhood here. We had some good times didn't we?

Wanted to wish all you swamp-dwelling Marylanders and effite liberal Easterners the best wishes for recovery from the storm..

I've been slumming various places. I noticed you have an ENVIRONMENT subforum now.. How slick is that D-Ray? Might have to poke around in there for meaty discussions.

I'll check back in after Tuesday to see who is packing up to leave the country and who is pushed to nervous exhaustion.. Knock your partisian selves out !!!

Yes slumming dimwit.. You know that this forum is penultimate playground.. Everything else is just fantasyland..

I'm wedded to 3rd party politics. Truly believe that we shouldn't reward the lesser of the F'Ups.. So getting fair ballot access and participation in the debates for any party that qualifies on enough ballots to get 270 electoral votes (like Gary Johnson) should NEVER be barred WITH GOVT assistance from the debates. I work for those principles even in the name of morons like the Green Party.. Because it's the honest answer to a LOT of our problems.

Yup -- Gary Johnson most definately.. Because he has a better record as a two term governor than Romney. And he wasn't p-whipped by a left leaning statehouse..

He's a good admin.. Problem is he has the charisma of a canker sore.

Its actually a relief that the Lib Party can now "allow themselves" to draft people who actually QUALIFY for the offices. The usefullness of this 3rd party masturbation is to point out policy issues and solutions that the DemReps just dance around. Like the realities of global trade and what America NEEDS to do to preserve a standard of living. Or how sucky our foreign policy is regardless of whether tweedle dee or dum is driving it..

Or --- God forbid --- that we're STEALING from the Soc Sec premium stream now because the politicians can no longer steal the Surplus..

Hey, man. No need to be a stranger.

I'm just curious to see if the paranoid delusionals start shooting this time.
(In the event that Obama wins.)

Wow. Someone smart enough to see that a third party is needed.

Oh, a lot of us think it's needed. We just can't agree on the nature of it, and it seems nearly impossible to keep the other two from crushing, or co-opting it.

I heard yet another Tea Partier try to claim the Tea Party isn't Republican.......
Right, then how come every single TP backed politician has an (R) next to his name and the teabaggers are all getting ready to go vote for a Republican with a fairly liberal history next tuesday?

I think there's a forest behind those trees.

Regards,
Dave
