I got mine for minimal dollars, and lots of time invested. Process was detailed, thorough and well run, I thought.

If she was not here on a visa they really get their knickers in a twist. Since my H1B gave me a lot of "rights", marrying a U.S. citizen was OK. Typically they seem to want you to marry outside of the country and then petition for your partner's admission. Of course it did piss off the guy I was working for as I was no longer a bond servant - and that is pretty much what an H1B is.
