Anyone else bothered by praise of the reprise of the sort of authoritarian nationalism of the 1930s?
Here, the "others" are Southern border immigrants.

Not really. I remember back in the day discussing the possibility of America going fascist. I acknoleged the possibly under very narrow conditions. Those conditions don't exist and I'm pretty sure Trump's not the guy/movement.

Paul von Hindenburg thought the same thing.

Highly.

Go back a few days. Trump was throwing tantrums and ordering DHS to break the law just before his purge of DHS. Jake Tapper/CNN reporting: https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/08/polit...sen/index.html

"Trump wants to separate families." And he wants the Army to get 'rough.'

And once he gets by with doing it on the border, it's on to other places. Think martial law in the 'sanctuary cities' would be outlandish, unthinkable?

If you think anything is outlandish/unthinkable when it comes to Trump, you will be surprised again and again....

A typical nonsense story from Faux "News". They just make shit up, with no basis in fact, to rouse their non-thinking audience like our resident idiot Whell. It would be laughable were it not so sad.
