Yep, me too. It seems lately, every thread (after the first page or two) degenerates into a personal shit fest with the monkeys flinging poo everywhere and at each other.

In post #60, Ike decided it would be a neat idea to respond to a post that was neither from nor about Zeke by suggesting he was a holocaust denier. This was profoundly insulting and entirely gratuitous. In post #61, which you apparently found so offensive, I said this to Ike:

"On the basis of what?

"Either you have a concrete reason for suspecting this and should be prepared to reveal it or you've got no legitimate reason and are just being gratuitously, irrelevantly and nonsensically insulting."

You keep criticizing. Now my response to your first post is in some way wrong. I think a person criticized is entitled to ask for clarification. Have I done anything else? Have I been impolite? Have I gotten within 50 miles of the debate style of the individual you felt moved to defend?
