Speaking of oppression, you mask mandate victim you, what you think of the Florida school district that plans to issue 'parental notifications' to the parents of classmates of gay students, etc? See any potential for oppression in that?

What drew the most debate was a provision that a school will notify parents — by form — if a student who is "open about their gender identity" is in a physical education class or on an overnight trip.

Some teachers and students during the Tuesday night meeting said the policy will “out” LGBTQ+ students — revealing their sexual orientation or gender identity without their permission.

I have no problem with it. We're dealing with minors here. Parents have a right to know who the school is pairing them with, especially if the person in their class has a serious mental flaw. Parents have a right to know.

FWIW, if my wife and I had school age kids, we'd be homeschooling.

BTW, back around the turn of the century my high school aged daughter was to be a part of a sex ed program involving homosexual awareness or something like that. Parents were allowed to opt their kids out, IF the parent watched a homosexual awareness film of some sort. I was one of two parents that opted our children out.

Elon Musk Tears Into Trump, Tells Him to ‘Hang Up His Hat’
‘SAIL INTO THE SUNSET’
The Tesla CEO also took a shot at the former president*’s age, days after Trump railed over Musk’s botched Twitter deal.

The quiet part said out loud...

even if only to a few select people.

In recent months, Trump has made clear to associates that the legal protections of occupying the Oval Office are front-of-mind for him, four people with knowledge of the situation tell Rolling Stone.
Yes, four "un-named" people, as some around here will point out. Of course those people don't think the Mango Mussolini has done anything worth prosecuting anyway.

You just can't have a successful Fourth-Reich unless you purge the "wrong" people from the government. The Republican party has so demonized the Democratic party that this kind of thing is alright with their base. Remember, the majority of the Republican party electorate see nothing wrong with the way tRump tried to cling to power. If the GOP succeeds in getting the former guy back in the WH America will need another revolution to remove the GOP from power. Even if tRump were to drop dead tomorrow the GOP would just replace him with some tRump wannabe.

The ground work has been already been accomplished. The new Republicans see what he tried and figure 'hold my beer'..... Let us show you how it can be done.

If they ever have complete control again.

Will never willingly allow the loss of complete control without a fight.

America's best confronted America's worst at Trump's LIV golf fest in NJ

https://www.northjersey.com/story/ne...i/65392404007/

Quote:
As al-Zawahiri was killed last Sunday morning in Kabul, Afghanistan, by a missile fired from a U.S. drone, some four dozen professional golfers in Bedminster, New Jersey — on a course owned by former President Donald J. Trump — were paid lavish sums of money to essentially stage a golfing exhibition while rock music was piped in. The money for the LIV Golf tournament — whose slogan is “golf, but louder” — came from Saudi Arabia, which the FBI now concludes was the same source of logistical and financial support for the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The golfers saw no problem with this. Neither did Trump. In fact, Trump, who specifically blamed the Saudis on Fox News in 2016 for the 9/11 attacks, had a change of heart as he stood in the heat and humidity of his golf course in Bedminster, and with an unspecified amount of Saudi cash funneled into his business empire.
Wake up, MAGAMorons. You're STILL being conned.
