I am willing to bet that if and when Trump gets charged, he will mobilize his mob to wreak havoc. Perhaps not in Federal facilities or seats of government, but I can see mass protests in major American cities and they will blame the Antifa. I am certain that the Proud Boys and Truth Keeper types are itching for a fight especially after being humiliated on Jan 6th at the US Capitol building. Perhaps this is why Vance & Co. are proceeding deliberately and cautiously whereas the Dems are clamoring for action against the GQP and justifiably so. This can also seriously discredit Biden and his administration.

Unfortunately, I think you are right about Trump, Rajoo. He is good at inciting a crowd and he will do anything to save his hide. I am optimistic, though, because the SDNY is very good at what they do and I'm sure they are wise to Trump's playbook.

Trump is only good at one thing which is creating chaos and this will give him the headlines and help dominate the news cycle. There are enough goobers who love him for it and will send their last penny to him, which with his Super Pac will find its way into his pockets. And the GOP is petrified of him. So if you are Trump, what is not to like? Live in his beach house, next to his golf course, the governor on standby to lick his boots, family and cronies nearby. Cure for Trumpism may be worse than the Maga disease.

I don't think the MAGA idiots will get away with what they did on Jan. 6th. again. First there's no direct feed to rile up the cult and second there's no way he can direct any National Guard units to stand down to let the cult run wild. No mayors or governors are willing to get caught with their pants down either. If/when Agent Orange gets indicted expect a gag order to soon follow because we know he has the right to remain silent but not the ability.
