Governor Haley just announced at a press conf.

Didn't think I could get emotional any more - this one got me.

Thank God she did the right thing.

She has political cover now, would have meant more if it was removed last week.
Still glad that it is happening. I for one would not give her any credit.

I've never liked Gov. Haley but this took some courage. Good for her!

Seeing is believing, remember that this will have to pass with a super majority (2/3) vote of the legislature before the flag comes down.

Sorry to be a wet blanket, Cats. The cynical part of me sees Nikki feathering her own nest, I hope she didn't tear a rotater cuff patting herself on the back for doing her job...

If it's C\Republicans behind it, it's damage control.

Notice how many of those MF'ers initially couldn't work up the stones to offer a personal opinion on the matter.......... Other than to regurgitate the rehearsed line about "States Rights". Why? Don't want to upset the base........
