I'm just going from what I saw on live TV. I did participate in several anti-Reagan protests and I am somewhat familiar with fervent left wing protesters and their behavior. Given the number and intesity of of the anti-Bush protests over Bush's policies, I can't believe that there were no threats. I still can't figure out how he managed to shoot his friend. I've been hit by errant shotshell pellets, but not by people in my own party.

BTW, I hate it anytime they roll into San Diego and upset traffic. How do people in the beltway deal with it.

But you don't actually know, do you? When you're in an argument or debate it's a good idea to make only statements you can back up with facts, not statements which seem plausible or even likely to you and then present them as facts.
