No Yazidi Refugees Allowed.

I do not understand this policy - the Yazidi population in Syria and Iraq being decimated by ISIS - beheaded, shot by the thoudands and Yazidi women sold in to slavery.

Poland taking those that find a way out, Britain, and a few other countries.

U.S. will not allow them in and the State Dept. refuses to comment. Turkey turning away fleeing Yazidis at the border - sending them back to a certain horrible death.

I smell a rat - Turkey wants to keep the Kurdish Yazidis in line and U.S. wants to play nicey with Turkey (we also just removed our missile batteries stationed there).

Meanwhile, what are a few hundred thousand dead Yazidis worth?

For whatever reason, despite the 300% increase in immigrants here in the US from the middle east, Yazidis don't make the grade. I can't think of another group that so desperately needs asylum.

I used to think Carter was the worst President in my life but hands down it's Obama now.

Are you back on that bandwagon?

At some point you will need to back up statements like that. My intent here is not to defend Obama, I will need to get more information on this Yazidi refugee crisis, but your "Obama *$#@" does not add anything to the conversation.

If economy is a factor, Bush should be crowned the worst president in recent memory. Would you ever agree to that?

Carter was literally a candidate for sainthood compared to some, relatively recent and past. We seem to keep forgetting Harding, Nixon, and Bush the 2nd. Andy Jackson was cringeworthry as well. Carter lacks in comparison to the bullshit generated to support his clueless successor and it's equally cringeworthry admin.

Jimmy is one of my favorite Presidents during my lifetime.

But back to the refugee issue. I listened to a long segment on NPR yesterday about the EU refugee situation and concerns about Schengen falling apart due to the massive influx, and some other stuff...primarily criminal gangs from some of the eastern EU states taking advantage of the Schengen Area. Germany is the country that is actually making a supreme effort to provide some reasonable shelter and services for refugees...and due to that has been hit with over 800,000 at this point.

So then some guy is interviewed and starts ragging about what a shit job the European Union is doing with shelter and care for these people. I was pretty miffed actually. The Islamic world is up to it's typical murderous fucking nonsense and the bad guys are the Europeans and Americans. Nice.

Hey, he's an advocate and he took his shot. If he'd just said 'thank you and bless you' he'd never have even showed-up on TV.

I think Shengen is probably finished. The huge number of refugees from these conflict zones make it unworkable, especially if there are ISIS infiltrators among them, preparing to burrow into the EU and await instructions.

It was your boy Bush that made this whole mess over there.

He should put them up on that 300,000 acres his family owns in Paraguay.
