This is such an inappropriate behaviour regarding the difficult negotiations of Western politicians currently with Russia which are correctly spoken no bilateral talks because Putin is listening to almost nobody.

Putin listens to Schröder. This could be a chance for mediation, but Schröder is not interested in policy anymore, he wasn't interested in policy even when he was chancellor.
