It leads me to believe that even they, themselves know they wouldn't survive a day without all of the silly flag waiving BS to prop them up.

I have my own personal concerns and beliefs, this is true. But, I am an American first. And my people are my nation. The well being of my people comes above all else. And I don't see how swearing allegiance to either the government, or the corporate masters who grow fat upon our labors is supposed to serve the best interests of the common man.

I agree Dave,

I just block out all the party Bull Poop, and focus on the candidates, what they did, what they claim that they are for, how they voted, etc. Then I try to select from the reaming candidates.

I was all for Barry O', even though his minister is a nut, and he would not allow his birth certificate to be seen, but when they showed his office, he had a poster of "Che" Guevara, the Marxist Revolutionary murderer ? WTF
I have a poster of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, George Patton and Farrah Fawcett From that point he lost me totally. I don't do Marxist Revolutionaries.

IIRC, it wasn't on Obamas office wall. It was some volunteers for Obama who had it up on their wall.

While I hate to disagree,

There was a film crew entering Barrie's office and lo and behold, it was right there on the wall as you entered Barrie O's Office.

And if it was a volunteers poster, placed in the entrance of my office, it never would have been there!

I loved his message, but that just turned out to be political Bull Poop.

I don't like the New and Improved Barry O.

Did some searching now, and I can't find any link to it anywhere. Other than the staffers having it. Anyone have better luck?

Whether or not Ron Paul has any good policy ideas is largely irrelevant. He would have to be able to pass and implement them. I can't help but believe that this would be far beyond his capabilities. He reminds me of a number of PhD's I worked with - smart, amusing and completely devoid of common sense or the ability to actually get work done.

I didn't know that Barry O was a PhD, he must be, he has the same symptoms.

So you want to elect yet another ineffectual President?

I gotta agree with Finn on this one. I like his ideas but not a one of them would even get thought of.

Although it would be nice to vote for someone willing to get rid of such a hurt and burden on our country as the DEA and drug laws have been.
