It would suck moving back from the dead US housing market, to the booming Canadian one. It's only really bad if you were to move to Toronto or the suburbs. In Toronto, they are still bidding over the asking price on houses. A friend of mine just recently paid $690,000 to buy a house that had been listed for $600,000. And it wasn't much of a house.

I was thinking some quiet village in the Maritimes,never did like Toronto,and even with our granddaughters in Kanata that area (Ottawa and environs) is not very nice any more. Nah, we are country folk.

I was hoping you would do something closer that that. Would be nice to visit if you were up here.
