Or Lake Erie for that matter! The worst though was up in Algonquin. Not dirty, the opposite, but whoa nellie was it cold. Best place I ever camped though. Wolves, moose, loons, bogs, just an incredible 2 weeks.

So you have been to our little Algonquin Park, must have been off season as they did have facilities when we were there. Except for one time when we went in very early spring. Ever hear a beaver signal by slapping his tail on the water, thought someone had taken a shot at me.

I never heard that! Very neat.

We always camped deep woods primitive. We were a long way from any facilities, even potable water.
