I know you're in earnest D, and I don't mean to be a certain way, but that article is killing me! "But for the individual occupier, one problem often overshadows everything else, including job loss, the destruction of the middle class, and the reign of the 1 percent. And that is the single question: Where am I going to pee?" LMAO!

Let's see, I'm going to go downtown and live in a park. It'll be just like camping!

Fortunately I can both pee and bathe when camping. If you're going to occupy my Main Street park (I thought it was Wall Street?) you may want to think it through a bit. My pity bone isnt tingling

I guess I read it in a different way. It was not so much pity for the protesters as it was to reveal that they were temporarily faced with the smelly reality that homeless people face daily. Because the protests have become something of a cause celebre, people are reaching out to the protesters. The homeless are not in vogue the same way, and thus don't have city officials handing ponchos out to them. The Mother Jones article took a little bit of the idealistic shine off of the attention the OWS movement is getting.

I'm having to try really hard to not tie the girl with the Goethe quote in with the mention of your tingling pity bone.

Regards,

D-Ray

THAT wouldn't be pity

True though, no one cares when the homeless get kicked out of a park. Here in Cleveland they let they live on the sidewalks around the county welfare building, lots of smelly but steamy grates, it's amazing how many there are (even before the crash).

The welfare department used to take 8 homeless a day. Don't ask me how I know

I don't know if that's still true.

Of course when we went camping all the campgrounds had toilets and hot showers.

What's the difference between a lady in church and a lady in the shower?

Regards,

D-Ray

Here's a hint: The lady in church has hope in her soul.

Don, you need to get in the courtroom quick.

Your timing has never been better.

I'm working on a motion right now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah - what motion - don't even go there.

Do you think that all the people who rallied with King were just like him?
