Owning guns and having concealed carry permits to take guns just about anywhere is considered a deterrence, if I understand the logic correctly. So this is no different than nuclear deterrence. So why are we so dead set against Iran developing nuclear capability? Israel has it so why not Iran. Why isolate North Korea? Why not arm Japan and South Korea with nuclear missiles? Imagine the boos to our economy.
