They should allow the same subsidies to single people or married people without children as they do to those with children. In other words make it affordable by making everyone eligible for cheaper health care. Put another tax on the very wealthy to pay for that. That would get younger, healthier people into the markets so the exchanges can do better.

Then, most importantly, officially change the name from the ACA to Trumpcare.

Don't touch anything else about the original bill

I just solved the whole mess.

After criticizing the CBO estimate that 24 million people will lose their insurance, it has been revealed that the White House's own estimate showed 26 million losing their insurance.
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/0...e-house-236019

Moreover, it appears that Trump's signature voters, low-income old folks, are going to be screwed the worst:

According to the CBO, 64-year olds making $26,500 per year would see their premiums increase by an estimated 750 percent by 2026. While they are on track to pay $1,700 under the current law, the CBO projects the American Health Care Act would force them to pay $14,600.

Health care is a privilege, not a right. Let those without die and decrease the surplus population.

Ryan's answer is to tout only the positives which basically is $300 Billion savings over a decade, which is what, $30B per year? Isn't that chump change on a $4 Trillion budget?

Look for Bannon to propose Medicare For WASPs any day now to secure the Trump legacy.

The right wing doesn't want any insurance. Hell, they don't even want Medicaid/Medicare.

This explains why they spent half a billion dollars to repeal ACA, and have nothing to replace it. Pond scum.
