I would submit that when you provoke someone ala calling me "Bobby"? You have little cause to complain when I respond, sir.

Feel free to use alternate channels should you wish to converse going forward.

Maybe 3M has better lobbyists.

I use 3M 77 to entangle Black Widow spiders. Last year I killed 89 of them around the perimeter. I go spider hunting late at night armed with a flashlight and a can of 3M 77. I like the ironic twist of them becoming caught in their own web.
I've found 3M 77 to be inadequate for a lot of uses. I've yet to try the 3M 99, but have used the waterbased green contact cement that replaced the good Weldwood acetone based stuff.

Psst, I'll trade some 100 W bulbs for a quart of contact cement. I can see an entire new black market. Too bad it doesn't have the demand like booze does, I could be the next Capone or better yet Joe Kennedy.

I use CFLs. They have become much better than they used to be; however, they're still not as warm as a nice incandescent bulb. I use full spectrum bulbs for anything where I care about color rendition, but those are too expensive for general use. A friend has his entire specimen collection illuminated by a museum class fiber optic system. Beautiful lighting. I find that fluorescent illumination, with the cold blue light, is an excellent metaphor for a cold heartless bureaucracy.

Some people like my Florence cannot stanf flourescent light and since the vast majority are made in China I really have no desire to burn our house down.
