The last time I had my roof done, the loser contractor I hired sent one guy around, when he felt like it. It took him two weeks.

I love older homes!

My first home was a 1900 victorian (in a rather tough part of town) which had been converted to a muti family. I put it back togeather and had a rather impressive looking home (but it was still in a tough part of town!)

We used to get broken into regularly as a bonus for fixing it up.

My last home was a depression era farm house. The simplicity was as beautiful as was the ornate style of the victorian.

How's that for off subject?

(both of course I put audio rooms in )

I've been pneumatic since the early '70s whenever possible but kept that Plumb axe at my side after it helped me to avoid being impaled on forest of rebar. Of course, moving a wall or a truss segment into place is easier on a nailgun if you have a ripclaw at your side...
