Look everyone, a business expanding---In Cleveland.

You read that right, Cleveland, Ohio.

http://www.facebook.com/greatlakesbrewingco

First I learn of a new $690,000,000 steel mill being built in Youngstown, another being restarted in Warren, unemployment in Ohio isn't nearly as high as I thought (10.2%), and now this relatively small but good news. Granted, things are still far from ideal anywhere in the country. But how much longer do you think the GOP can go on denying that ANYTHING good is happening? Heck, I've gone from being down to less than fourty hours a week to working overtime in the last couple of months. I know several people who had been out of work for a long time, who've recently found work.

Maybe that's why they are in such a scramble to win in November? So they can catch the economy on the rise and claim credit? (For what I don't know, they haven't done a fuckin' thing but bitch, complain and launch ludicrous allegations of conspiracy and malfeasance-------as usual.)

You may go ahead and hate me for my optimism now.

Love,
Dave

The GOP just voted down a modest but fully funded program that would have created jobs. So much for their damned furniture polish.

Just the same it's great, particularly the Great Lakes Brewing thing. Anyone ever stop up here, a beer's on me!

Yeah.

I'm partial to Burning River Pale Ale, and 'the bomb' Blackout Stout when available (around Feb).

The label pics are the best. Burning River is self explanitory. Holy Moses Ale has Moses parting Lake Erie with Cleveland at the other end

Pete, I expect that it would be a gas to have a beer or two with you. One of these days, when we're back to paying housing at only one place, and only buying books that we want to read, we will take a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. (I say that, but I have failed to take advantage of the Jazz Museum and Negro Leagues Hall of Fame that we have here. Someone needs to come visit us and we'll all go there.)

Regards,

D-Ray
