A lot of people thought that mullaly was nuts to borrow all that cash. I'm guessing his crystal ball was working pretty darn well at the time.

The real genius was Bill Ford, IMHO. He did something very few CEOs would ever do. He voluntarily stepped down (or up actually), because he realized he was not the right man to be running the company.
