Locally available materials? Like, who keeps vats of bacteria around?
But there is great potential in this approach I'm sure. I especially like that they're thinking of actual living structures. Eventually we'll be 'building' houses by planting a house seed?

I'm old school.
Tie your steel right, use the required amount of concrete (thickness), and a good 6 bag mix and your foundation will last until the cows come home. Don't go cheap on the footers. Concrete is the industry standard with a proven track record. Why bet on a unproven with your hard earned dollars? Chas
