Ford's expansion of its operations also goes well beyond hiring 1500, and now 2500 workers. Retooling the plant provides work for a lot of out of work construction workers. There are also the parts suppliers, the folks who make steel toed boots, the local restaurants and grocery stores and so on.

Didn't Tennessee get hit with some flooding and other disasters this year. Nice to see something good happening there.

Yeah, we really need to discourage this kind of behavior. We can't have any generosity going on in St. Ronnies America. The High Priest of Rabid Avarice, Gordon Gekko wouldn't approve.
