I couldn't believe the ease of use and was like, wow! My printer CD doesn't support linux, but it doesn't have to because it detected the printer no problem and put it to work without help of a CD. I was amazed that it auto configured to run a device that only supported windows. I really like the improvements they've made. I haven't tried anything else non windows yet other than Ubuntu. There must be a ton of Linux out there so I just 'picked something' and hoped it worked.

But I saved money for future healthcare by switching to a free OS.

I have been using Linux since 2001.....Linux Mint, which is based on Ubuntu,is the only one where everything works out of the box. Even Flash works, so if you install Chrome or use Firefox you can watch You-tube. And programs are pretty easy to install if you use the Mint installers via Firefox...the linux printer drivers detected my printer to ( it is called CUPS i think)
I used to run Slackware, which is hard to install but really stable once you get the hang of it ...on that one you need to know how to decompress tarballs and compile from the terminal. Yikes.

And that is exactly how the Affordable Cate Act is supposed to work. If you already have adequate insurance you are satisfied with, you can keep it but if you don't have insurance or are under insured, you have an affordable opportunity to purchase some.
