The first time I became aware of "The Donald" other than a name in the East coast business world was "The Apprentice". I found him annoyingly self absorbed on first sight, and as a result ignored him and the show. Since he became a candidate for POTUS, my first impression of him has only been reenforced as his sales pitch has fallen flat, and whatever qualification he professes betrayed by his words and actions. I just cannot take him seriously as a candidate for the nation's highest office of public responsibility.

Noone, here is how I read your stance on Trump as I have gleaned from this thread.
"Why don't you admire Trump like I do", "If you do not admire Trump like I do (implied that you have listed several qualities that deserve our admiration), something is wrong with you", or "what's wrong with you guys and gals, why don't you think Trump is a great guy like I do", etc., etc.

You have hit a brick wall. Except for TJ, no one here has or will have anything good to say about Trump except probably one or two Republicans here.

It was a quote from morning Joe, as noted. It was relevant here as that had been the exact attitude displayed here.

God forbid someone takes an honest look at oneself.

I never passed a homeless person in my life without giving them something. Typically I was very generous. No child has ever knocked on my door selling something where they did not leave with their biggest order. Oft time I give it to them. I don't carry cash anymore but if I see kids collecting for their soccer team by the supermarket exit, I stop at the cash machine and given them a couple dollars when I leave.

Yet, not condemning TRump is a personal insult to those that hate him and makes me a vile human.

Well, to be fair, I don't go to church. Been married twice. Spent lot's of time at strip clubs and knew the local working girls. (some, most, really are with golden heart, of course you need be vigilant)...

I think anyone would be proud to have accomplished children as I do... was even a single dad, I am regularly the guy turned to for advise..... but I don't condemn Trump....

Well, to be wholly honest, I have told off more than one doctor, kids in town think me a hard ass, I do insist folks take ownership of their situations... but I do eat my vegetables. I respect the mores of others when in their home.(well, not totally, I still get pissed when my son in laws asks that everyone take off their shoes but I do take them off)

You are welcome and I do find your posts on the topic of The Donald quite entertaining and am not put off. There, I hit on it, stop calling him Trump (an angry divisive name) and start referring to him as Our Donald (lovable Disney character). You will get a friendlier audience.
