Perry, who made two visits to California to lure employers to his state, said Texas offered Toyota $40 million in incentives from the taxpayer-funded Texas Enterprise Fund.

Of course, this had nothing to do with Toyota's decision, nothing at all.

I wonder how the Texas taxpayers feel about $40 Million in taxpayer money being transferred to a foreign corporation? Texas has pioneered trickle up economics.

I agree D, but it has to be said, if folks weren't thick enough to buy them the money wouldn't be going back to Japan regardless of incentives.

Besides they need the money to help pay their billion dollar fine!
